World Asthma Day 2008: You Can Control Your Asthma!

World Asthma Day 2007 participants in Allahabad, India, with a banner announcing an asthma education and detection camp offered by the Tandon Chest & Sleep Centre. Over 174 activities took place in at least 57 countries around the world for World Asthma Day 2007!

World Asthma Day is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. World Asthma Day 2008 will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. The theme of this year's event will be "You Can Control Your Asthma"
